The teissAwards2024 recognised excellence in cyber and information security, with a particular focus on the contributions of vendors and technologies in relation to the use, development, and deployment of information security in the past 12 months.

 

The categories within the teissAwards2024 were assessed by an independent panel of distinguished judges, and the winners were announced at the teissAwards2024 gala dinner, held on the 22nd February 2024.

 

The teissAwards2024 are part of a broader portfolio of information security events, which have taken place over the last decade, and represents the largest and most comprehensive cyber security gathering of experts in Europe.

Danny is a respectable Professor of Cyber Security at the University of Manchester and a Fellow of the Institute of Information Security Professionals. Whilst at the NCSC, he created the core of SANS' training for BS 7799, edited national security breaches surveys, and wrote the first standards for source code escrow. He has contributed to books, conferences, and appeared on numerous TV channels including the BBC.

Over 250 attendees will convene for an evening of celebration, as the information security vendors gathers to celebrate the very best in the industry.

We are delighted that Keith Farnan will host the teissAwards2024!

 

Having appeared on BBC’s Michael Mcintyre Comedy Roadshow as well as adapting his own comedy documentary for RTE, Money, Money, Money: Keith Farnan versus the Economy, Keith has just topped an outstanding eighteen months by appearing at the Montreal Just For Laughs All Access show for the Canadian Comedy Network and Hollands highest rating comedy show, The Comedy Factory. In America, Showtime has Keith has appeared on their new standup show, Live From Amsterdam, which brings together the best American and European comedians working today.

 

He has performed as a stand-up worldwide, from Montreal to Amsterdam to Hong Kong. His four Edinburgh Festival shows have proved a powerful mix of the personal and the political. They have sold out their runs at the major comedy festivals in the UK and the Soho Theatre and Royal Festival Hall in London.

 

Other TV credits include the Comedy Channel’s Live at the Comedy Store, RTE’s The Social, BBC 3’s Most Annoying People, BBCNI’s One Night Stand and BBC 3’s Olympics Greatest Moments. Radio appearances include BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends and BBC Scotland’s The Guessing Game with Clive Anderson as well as Colin Murphy’s Great Unanswered Questions for BBCNI. He has written for RTE’s Satirical panel show “That’s All We’ve Got Time For”. He was a recent winner of the Irish Times/Fishamble Tiny Plays contest and has been commissioned to write a play, The Last Stevedore as well as film treatments for various projects.  He has also written for Time Out London, Hot Press and The Irish Post.

How are the awards organised? 

There are 15 Categories within the teissAwards2024, all focused on recognising excellence amongst the information security vendor market.

 

Who is eligible?

The teissAwards2024 are open to all information security product, service and training providers. Each Category has defined eligibility criteria and guidance on who should apply.

 

How can we enter? 

For each Category, there are a set of questions you must answer in order to make your submission. Your organisation is allowed to enter as many categories as are applicable to you.

 

Where do we enter? 

You can email your completed submission form and supporting documents to awards@teiss.co.uk  

 

Who decides if we’ve won? 

A select panel of industry experts make up our judging panel. Their details can be seen on the following pages.  They will score all submitted entries that are shortlisted.
