Security Operations Design: Staying adaptable and agile in the face of change

08:00 - 10:30
The Goring Hotel, London

Security teams are stretched. Maintaining the current manual process, resource-heavy approach, and monitoring multiple vendor technologies and environments are taking their toll.  As a result, security teams are navigating observability gaps, costly defence, and difficulty hiring and retaining skilled personnel.

We believe it’s time to overhaul the traditional SOC model and architect a future-proof model that is flexible, agile, and elastic. We need a model that can adapt promptly to changes in the direction of the company it protects and the emergence of new external threats.

It’s time to question the traditional mass data collection approach and move to a more federated strategy. To achieve this, the Future-Proof SOC will employ open and extensible architectures that allow your internally developed capability to sit alongside leading vendor technologies without historical issues with lock-in.

This approach will provide an environment for SOC analysts, threat hunters, and engineers to innovate and apply the latest research and innovation alongside established approaches to cyber defence.

The Future-Proof SOC will enable collaboration and co-creation across the business and trusted partners while also supporting other business initiatives such as cloud migration, legacy infrastructure re-platforming, and digital transformation.

Join this breakfast roundtable to discuss how you can build a security operations centre that can:

  • Handle large data volumes without high ingest, processing, and storage costs.
  • Monitor and protect a wider variety of environments than ever before.
  • Embrace the federated detection & response (D&R) model.
  • Adopt automation, coupled with artificial intelligence and machine decision-making, reducing the dependency on humans for repetitive, mundane tasks.
  • Take innovative and proactive approaches to threat hunting that leverage the latest technologies and techniques.
