What’s the problem with saying that, “People are the weakest link”?

A lot, says Dr Jessica Barker, Chair, ClubCISO. Interviewed at teissLondon2020, Jessica explained how by describing people as the “problem” not only alienates them, but is also psychologically harmful to them.

Jessica believes the cyber security industry needs to adopt a “people centric” approach, which will lead to a much better security posture.

But how to do so? Jessica shows us how to encourage people to embrace a positive approach to security (as well as pointing out what really doesn’t work).
