The cloud software company says a hacking incident involving a business associate exposed protected health information, and a law firm is now investigating the breach.

ServiceTitan Inc., a Glendale, California-based software company that serves contractors and other field-service businesses, disclosed a data breach affecting 4,851 people enrolled in the health plan it offers employees, according to a report filed with federal regulators.
ServiceTitan’s platform helps service businesses manage operations including customer relationship management, scheduling, dispatching, estimates, invoicing, payments, marketing automation and analytics, and the company also offers specialized products for pest control, landscaping and payment processing.
The breach was reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on July 27, 2026. According to the filing, the health plan operated by ServiceTitan was affected by a hacking and information technology incident that involved a business associate of the plan, and the exposed information reportedly included protected health information stored on a network server.
The timeline of the incident, including when it began, when it ended and when it was first discovered, has not been publicly detailed. The specific categories of information exposed also remain undisclosed, though they may have included names, Social Security numbers, medical records, health insurance details or other sensitive information.
ServiceTitan has notified affected individuals directly. The company has said people who believe they may have been affected but have not yet received a notification can contact ServiceTitan through its website for more information.
