GTC Europe, autonomous cars and a sexist AI recruiter: the latest in AI

What is new in the world of AI? The Hacker News published a roundup of the achievements and developments in AI technology you might not have heard about.

Nvidia’s GTC Europe, an international technology conference, gathered AI software developers last week in Munich while Waymo’s autonomous cars have already officially driven 10 million miles in real life and more than 7 billion miles in simulation. In the meantime, Amazon was forced to shut down its AI recruiter when it turned out to have adopted sexist patterns.
