Former Dream Market administrator sentenced to 20 years in prison

After former Silk Road site administrator and forum moderator Gary Davis aka “Libertas” pleaded guilty to drug dealing last week, a second dark web marketplace admin is sentenced to 20 years in US prison.

One year ago Gal Vallerius aka “OxyMonster” had been arrested in the United States when arriving at Atlanta International Airport to participate in the World Beard and Mustache Championships in Austin, Texas. Since US authorities found login credentials for Dream Market, a dark web marketplace for drugs that was launched in November 2013, he pleaded guilty in June this year to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute drugs and to launder money.

According to The Hacker News he had already been working as a vendor in the network before being promoted to administrator and senior moderator.
