Why are conferences about information security important?

Rik Ferguson, VP security research at Trend Micro explains why cyber security conferences deliver real value.

Enterprises need to educate their workforces about cyber security but the information delivered in education needs to come from somewhere. At conferences like teiss with great speakers and really interesting infosec content, people can share information. Of course speakers need to make sure they are not doing a sales pitch, that they are delivering real education or discussion about cyber threats and techniques.

At #teissLondon2017, expert speakers addressed 400 information security industry leaders as part of discussions on how to build an agile cyber security culture.

Review the post-event report from this conference. We also run a series of workshops and VIP Breakfast Briefings throughout the year that may interest you.
