Another bug in Apple’s iOS 12

Remember the passcode bypass vulnerability in Apple’s iOS 12 that was discovered soon after Apple’s latest products had been released last month? The same security researcher has recently revealed another passcode bypass bug. And this one is even easier to execute.

Jose Rodriguez, a Spanish amateur security researcher, published a video in September this year on how to bypass Siri and gain physical access to the user’s contacts and photos. Apple took care of this vulnerability and patched it. Now he came up with another flaw that allows hackers to achieve exactly the same command but even simpler.

Read here how this flaw can be exploited and how to patch it.
