Anti-malware providers and businesses need to join forces
23 April 2018
According to author Raef Meeuwisse, cyber security malware is advancing at an extortionate speed.
The latest threats are posed by crypto-jacking, the undetectable use of CPU capacity towards mining crypto-currencies; and fileless malware, infections that do not place any files on the hard drive and therefore cannot be detected. He explains how businesses have to pull their weight in the fight against malware and why acting quickly is key when a patch has been released.
Raef was speaking at the award-winning TEISS 2018. Our next summit is the R3: Resilience, Recovery and Response Summit 2018 which will take place in September at etc.venue's St. Pauls. This conference is the #1 summit focusing on post-breach response including forensic and legal requirements, media communications, and tips for a fast recovery.
